Does anyone know if there are 1/48 decals available for George Preddy’s P-51 Mustang “Cripes A Mighty”? I really want to do his plane as he was a native of my area(Greensboro, NC). I’ve checked out ebay and no luck there. I appreciate any help you guys can give, thanks![:)]

GreatModels (www.greatmodels.com) has a series of “Blue Nose Birds of Bodney” decals, from Eagle Strike, the one w/ “Cripes-A-Mighty” is egip4808. Do a search using “blue nose birds” and you’ll find it. I plan to do Preddy’s Mustang, the last one of his, and the F-16 that the VA ANG painted in retro colors for the 352nd FG reunion a few years back.
(I’m currently building the olive drab B model one, “Heller Bust”.)

Aeromaster and Three Guys Replicas both made them. You should still be able to get oe of the TGR sets (TGRGS48003 ) from Meteor (www.meteorprod.com). I think that set is for his P-47, and two of his Mustangs, as well as his brother’s P-51K. Eagle Strike has one on their set IP48-08 (http://www.eaglestrikeproductions.com/cgi-bin/espdecals.pl?scale=48&setid=08&dbs=eaglestrike&pgs=2&currpg=1&dclimg=ip4808). The Aeromaster and Eagle Strike sets may be available from Great Models (www.greatmodels.com).
