Good Evening,
I was wondering if anyone knows where the exhaust stubs are on the P-47D Razorback. I am doing a Monogram (yes, Monogram, not Revel-Monogram) P47D,and I am not sure where the exhaust stubs are for the exhaust. Any help would be great. Thanks.

The P-47D had three exhaust outlets:
No. 1: Turbocharger - large rounded outlet in front of the tail wheel.
No. 2 & 3: Behind the lower engine cowl on both left and right sides is an oil cooler outlet, followed by a deflector plate, followed by an exhaust port. The left and right exhaust ports had butterfly valves that metered the amount of exhaust gas that went to the turbocharger.

Look just ahead and below the wing root. Bewteen the wing root and the cowling you see two small door-shaped shutters and a little round (actually teardrop-shaped) thingy behind them. The round thing is the abovementioned butterfly, and that’s where the bulk of your engine exhaust comes out. Put a generous amount of exhaust stain weathering there :).
