P-47 Razorback

While photographing the La-7 I pulled at a few more models and did them at the same time.

Here is Hasegawa’s P-47 Razorback with Eduard ZOOM PE in the cockpit and SuperScale decals (I like cheesecake nose-art!)

Beautiful build on your new snowy backdrop! Your P-47 really looks great… nice job!

I picked up that decal sheet (especially for “Raid Hot Mama”) a few years back but still don’t have a razorback to put them on! Plenty of bubbletops in the stash though.

Oh, what a nice model, I really like those markings too. Hope I can find them. Great weathering and very nice photos too.

Superb looking Jug, and the nose art is especially good looking. Thanks for the pics!

Very nice! Looks good in the snow.

Great looking Jug. I like the Cheese-Cake nose art as well.

Regards, Rick

Thanks! The Hasegawa kit isn’t quite as nice as the newer Tamiya one but still it’s a great kit.

Jmabx: I’ve got a pile of ‘bubbletops’ too but since most of them were natural metal I’ve been sitting on them. After reading though the NM group build I’ve got a better idea on how to tackle it though and maybe I’ll pull one of the stash this year.

Jeaton01: The decals are SuperScale 48-1185 and being a recent releash should still be widely available. The other bird on the sheet is the very colourful ‘Jabo’.

Thanks again!
