[8D] I love it!!! Now I should get off my butt (after I finish a tank, at gun and a ship) and build a P-3 kit which I have. I love P-3’s, I was an IFT on several back in the 70"s. VP-46 out of Moffat field near San Jose. They’ve moved to Whidby Island now. I’ll have to come up with vp-46 decals, but it’s doable, you’re the proof. It looks like all your decals are on there except the vp number and the nose number, are they the ones you’re waiting on? If you don’t mind could you tell me which brand and p/n of decal you need for those as I’m gonna need the large nose # and stuff too.

great job, post the finished pics please… gl

qtaylor Its a Hesagawa 1/72 kit. glweeks there superscale dacals USN ID Letters & Nos MS720231 i orderd them from squadron and yup those are the decals iam waitin for nose numbers and the numbers tail number that gos up top LQ 00 double nutts. My brother wants that specific A/C due to the Commanders wife didnt like them calling it double nutts so they had to change all the A/C desingation numbers to LQ 1 to LQ 12 the so that A/C has a specal spot in my brother. If all else fails all iam gona use is the small 5 and 6 and the big 0’s 5 in all so your more then welcome to have the rest if you want them i can mail them out to you when iam through.

Really excellent build. The paint job, especially the white, looks smooth. What is the item under the rear fueselage? The props look striking as well. BTW perhaps you can put a nice Christmas decoration on it and leave it out as a nice holiday display?[(-D]. Thank you for sharing your fine craftsmanship.

Neil

Looking good! Very nice job on on the Orion and the display base. Darren.

Hasegawa…ok, I was hoping so.

Any problems with the kit? I’m getting one tomorrow so I can modify it to be a CF Aurora. I understand it has raised panel lines, right?

bablenw Unfortunatly its a very BUTT heavy A/C and i did not put enough waight in the nose so i used a peace of clear sprue and mounted it in the base to keep the nose on the ground. My first idea was to make a runway base and nake it look like it was taking off but couldnt find any how to’s on the subject. Would have been neat though.

qtaylor actualy no it went together vary nicly the only problem was all the flash on the props and engine cowlings. Its a nice kit.
