oxidized metal?

What is the best way to simulate the green/blue oxidization that can occur on metal?

Dry-brushing and washes might work. This color is most common on copper, bronze and brass, and is caused by exposure to oxygen or sulfur, as the blue-green is characteristic of copper sulfate. It was common on the bronze cannon of the age of sail, since black powder is composed of sulfur, charcoal, and sodium nitrate.

Thanks.
