I opened mine up yesterday and inspected the kit, not a lot of parts but it is very crisp details.

I believe it was pricey at $60-$80, I donāt remember the exact cost because it is the only kit of the typeā¦I didnāt care, I wanted it !

6 Actual, that is one great haul of goodies from the Nats! 
Last week at IPMS here we had our annual swap meet meeting. Items for sale fell into one of four categoriesā¦ items I was interested inā¦ items in scales or genres that I did not buildā¦ items that I already hadā¦ and items that I was interested in but overpricedā¦ I chose this kit out of the first category 
There were a couple more, but I did not want to be greedy

I built this one years ago, but had been wanting to do another one. Found it recently on eBay for a good bit less than my normal online shops, so I grabbed it. My first was done as a winterized Storch with skis instead of wheels; this one Iāll likely do more akin to the box art.

Added something new to the stash today ā although Iām not sure this one really counts. Itās so small it barely qualifies as adding to the stash. At least thatās what I told my wife. 
The ICM 1/48 MH-6J Little Bird arrived, and I knew these helicopters were small, but I wasnāt quite prepared for just how tiny the box ā and the actual aircraft ā would be in 1/48. Put it next to a few of the other 1/48 helicopters in the stash and itās almost comical.
It looks like a really interesting little kit, though, and Iām looking forward to building it.
In fact, itās next up on the benchā¦ if I ever get done putting 10000 decals on this Phantom.

Picked these up at the Huntsville Model Show this past Saturday. I didnāt want the 1/48 JU-52 (I was looking for a 1/72), but the seller gave me a good deal on it ($20). He was getting rid of his stash due to shaking hands, a condition I hope to avoid for awhile.
Anyone know where I can pick up some German staff cars (or French) circa 1940 in 1/48th? I want to possibly recreate the scene from the opening of āThe Battle of Britainā?

That looks like a lot of work! Iām doing a Canadian Canso PBY. Iād like to do her like the PBY at the end of Greyhound.
