Negative SSgt, I don’t know anyone from 263. I’ve gone a whole enlistment without being attached to a HMM/VMM. It’s just bad luck I guess.

I can understand not wanting to fly/ride in a V-22. But, in my case, I’ve ridden in almost everything that can take a Marine from ship to shore, and I’d like to be able to say “I’ve done that” at least once about the Osprey if I can. Actually, I need to catch a ride on a huey, too. And if/when the EFV makes it into service before I retire, I’ll have to find a way onto one of those.
