Ordering at Luckymodel.com

Glad it worked out, I just got my 1/48 hobbyboss t-34 from them last week, can’t complain about their customer service.

I regularly buy from them and I like the way they do business. Their customer service is excellent and I’m sure the problems you had were purely accidental.

But, be carefull with their “available” items. They are not stock and personally, I always ask them directly how long it could take to have it.

They usually order in batches so if an item is from a “not so popular” supplier, it can take months to have your item cause they’ll wait for other items to be ordered to get the stuff from their suppliers.

From now on, I always buy “stock” items only.

But if you have any other issue with them, just send an e-mail to their customer service and they will answer promptly.

There are two major reasons why I buy there: Their website is wonderfully done, you can see right away how it will cost with shipping included. And they have very competitive prices.

But I still prefer to support my LHS.

Mortar, Next time you need models or supplies you may want to check out Sprue Brothers, http://www.spruebros.com , when I ordered supplies for my Bug they had everything I needed in stock, shipping cost was very reasonable and they shipped fast. I got my order within five days.

Just an FYI, [:D]

Oh, yes, they are one of the sites I order from. There are a lot of good choices for ordering online. For instance, Megahobby.com, the add I currently see on my screen, was fairly decent. Their prices are average, but I received my order quickly. I was updated when they received the order and when they shipped it. I had to cancel an item from that order, too. I did it inside the 24 hour window for cancelations. They have that because they ship your order in about that amount of time. They were responsive on that matter, and all went smoothly. I would order from HLJ more, but they never have what I want. Out of Stock and Backorder are the most common things I see next to the items I want. Kitlink was great, they are the sister site (same warehouse and inventory) of greatmodels, but they have priority over greatmodels. I used to use them all the time, but their website stopped working on FireFox, and I’ve had problems viewing their site even in Opera.

I really like the fact Sprue Brothers provides you with a shipping tracking number to let you check on where your order is after they ship it. I wish more online hobby retailers did this.

Most I have ordered from have given me a number. However, FedEx and UPS sometimes miss on there dates. I tend to wait patiently until the order is late.
