opinion on tamiya f117

Hi there

I was curious whether the Tamiya f117 kit is any good. Because I’m thinking of getting the kit.

Hi,

I believ that the 1/48 and 1/72 scale F-117 kits around are all the same mould.

Italeri, Revell, Tamyia and probaly other companies use the same mould for their kits.

You can find plenty of reviews on ARC.

The Tamiya 1/48 F-117 is Tamiya tooling. I haven’t built one, but I believe it is considered to be the best F-117 kit available in any scale. The older Monogram 1/48 kit was also pretty good, but I think it’s been OOP for a while.

I have built the 1/48 Tamiya kit and it is excellent. It is typical Tamiya quality. It’s well worth the high price.
