Opinion Needed, Please

I would like your opinion of AK interactive Super Chrome. Does it actually look close to chrome or is it just an expensive silver? Important because I’m building the AMT '55 Chevy and I’d like to get the side chrome (doors and back fenders) as true to chrome as possible.
Thanks,
David

I have never used AK’s Super Chrome. I did however recently try FusionFirm Liquid chrome. Its on amazon for a pretty decent price. Does not require a black base coat. However I have read that its sensitive to touching if not sealed. I ahve yet to do that. But here is what I got on my first try with it.

That seems to be what I’m looking for. Can I use Gloss cote or Tamiya X-22 clear coat to seal it?

I haven’t used AK’s Super Chrome but I’ve found Molotow Liquid Chrome to be very good. In addition to the pens for small touch-ups, I pour out a little from the refill bottle and brush it onto larger parts.

Needs to be a water based clear. Tamiya clear will eat it up. Apparently, once it has the water based clear on it, and its fully cured you can then use Tamiya clear.. Id test it on a spoon first
