One of my early builds, FW-190

1 1/2 year ago I moved to where I now live.
I had to put all my models in boxes and store them at my parents.
This weekend I got the first box, and the first model out was this one.

I built it 7-8 years ago before I knew anything about drybrushing, highlighting and panel lines. There is also alot of silvering around the decals. But I like it and I am proud of it, it was the first of my models to take a price at a show, that was when I was a junior modeler.

The engine detail is a verlinden set.

The swastica on the tail is covered because I took it to a show in Germany a couple of years ago, and you are not allowed to show the swastica in Germany.

Looks good to me, if you hadn’t mentioned the faults with it I wouldn’t have noticed. The FW-190 is one of my favorite WWII birds.

my friend great build.

Thanks guys [:I][:I]

I can understand why it did well in the show, it looks great. I’d be pleased with that one at any age or experience level.
