"One Morning in April," 1/35 scale diorama

Excellent, superb paintwork and thoughtful historic subject. The soldiers wandering around the abandoned railyard are a good story, spent a while looking at your photos.

I believe in my 55+ years in the hobby, that’s one of most amazing dioramas I’ve ever seen. Truly a master craftsman at work.

Amazing job on this one…definitely an award winner if I ever saw one.

I was thinking the same. If I could do the 7 primary models here with even half the detail, I would consider it a major accomplishment. Then add all the scene details and figures…wow

A lot of adjectives have been used to describe this diorama. Mine is ā€˜spectacular’. You did a magnificent job here and you have to admit that the pandemic did afford people a lot of free time to produce works like yours. I know. Someone mentioned the pigeons. I like the two soldiers trying to coax the cat from under the locomotive and the old railroad rusted wheels really caught my attention, especially since I’m a retired train supervisor.

Actually, I was still working full time during the pandemic–I’m a retired nurse. This project probably would have taken less time if I was stuck at home.
