(With apologies for the deleted posts - i’ve had some issues uploading pictures. Hopefully resolved!)

Loved this build - an old kit by Monogram Models which I was initially sceptical about but its probably one of my favourite builds so far.

The fit was mostly perfect - needed clamps a few times, but nothing major.

The kit comes with two versions of the body and engine - the shorttail and longtail (which is the one I went with - how could you not with that dramatic swoop!)

Like many old models, the decals were not in great shape, so I had to improvise a bit on the cody colour, went with chrome, chrome and more chrome (50 shades of chrome?) inspired by my favourite movie: Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.

ACK,ACK,ACK ! !

That’s my poor eyes reaction to all that Gorgeous Chrome. I LOVE IT ! Now how, when and why? Oh, and Where? I have built Monogram Models since they had the old 55,56 cycolac type Cadillac larger scale Models. How did I ever miss those.

Now that said I do have one of their 1/43 Cobra Flat Fendered roadsters. Tubular frame ,and open everything ( My Work) this is AWESOME, But oooh that shine !! Secretely LUV IT!!!
