OLD VAC-U-FORM KITS

That was a refreshing thread .

Made me think back a lot of years . The reason I liked them was the esoteric civilian planes that were used by the military .I built many as I had a heckuva parts drawer for planes back then .

One of my favorites was the " something ,something " PEMBROKE " It was a British high winged V.I.P. Transport .i/e Small field connecting airline type beast .Great plane and I had them in all kinds of what if local airline logos .Great fun that .

I was glad I had bought every one the shop had . I got transferred for work and when I got home thirty years later even the shop building was gone ! T.B.

I have an old T-39 that I’m going to have to find a horizontal tail for or make it. I’d also like to find a C-140, but lots of luck there.

If you want to try to scrathbuild a stabilizer and elevators, that should not be too difficult a job. I think basswood might be easier than styrene. Go to the scratchbuilding forum, in the modeling subjects hierarchy and ask for help if you need it. I am sure you will get enough help.
