I have recently retaken up model building. I want to know if models built when I was a youngster in the early 70’s can still be found or are they gone forever? The problem is that I don’t remember who made them and all I can really remember are a couple of things. For instance there was one that was maybe called the Red Baron which was a hot rod (dragster maybe) that had a big German combat helmet with a big iron cross on it. Another was a coffin dragster or funny car with the driver maybe being a skeletin (spelling?). Does this jog anyones memory. If so,please elaborate.

That would have been Tom Daniels’ Red Baron. Take a look at it here.
What a trip down memory lane. Thanks
I’ll bet that you collected Wacky Packages too![:)] Remember the SSP cars by Kenner? They had a ripcord that you pulled to spin a big gyro-wheel in the middle. AND, the Evel Knievel wind-up motorcycle? AND the Six Million Dollar Man with bionic grip! I’m freaking out! KISS cards. Lite-Brite. Etch-a-Scetch. Spirograph. Mr Potato Head with parts that we could choke on!!!
Somebody STOP me![wow]
The Red Baron hotrod was originally a Monogram kit, but since the two companies merged with Revell being the dominant brand name, current Red Baron kit is reissued with a Revell label.
