HA no FOIL NEVER AGIAN LOL So heres where iam at the kit does not come with the wellow decals nor the black ones so i had to paint the wellow and the blk. At least they give you the messurments for the width. I stll have some touch up due to over spray.
This is the First issues hasesgawa 1/32 F-86F it was it came out in 1973, And for a 33yr old kit the fit is awsome better than some of the new stuff. The yellow iam useing is MM enamel insigna yellow FS 33538
Thank guys, Oh and one question how long does it take for the sun to bleach a sheet of decals?
Marc smokin aviation now thats funny, and if i had a web page i just might name it that.
I have that kit waiting up in the attic, after looking at loads of pictures of sabres I went for insigna yellow but in the Vallejo model air range, nice to know I made the right choice.
If you are after the weathered faded look you could try applying the decals then adding a tiny amount of white paint to some varnish then apply the varnish. This is something i havent tried myself but friends have tried it and said it worked well.
Good news and Bad news. The good news is iam getting close to being done, The bad news is the decals are SHOT so iam in a holding pattern until i find a way to get some money to order a set or it will be in permanent holding pattern till i find a job. So sorry for the false hope on this one.
