On both these guys, shouldn’t the bread bag and ammo pouches be field green with leather strapping? It also looks like the Stg 44’s stock is portrayed as unstained wood. A deep brown would look more natural. Having your builder paint the insides of the cuffs the same color as the shirt will give you a more finished look. Did he intend to have the buttons the same color as the coat inthe first figure.

Many thanks for your comments and suggestions. Sorry that I don’t know about the stock of the MP40, what’s wrong with it?
The stocks on the Stg. 44 would have been a darker stain. In the pics its pretty light. Maybe it’s the lighting but it looks tan. A darker red/brown is what you need.
All in all I think looks good. I know I dread painting figures, as my skill isn’t near that of these.
The faces are far too glossy. It gives them a “porcelain doll” look.
