Does anyone know if there is a plastic kit that depicts the three firemen raising the flag at the World Trade Center? I have looked a little, but with no luck. Thanks
If there is one of the marines doing it at Iwo Jima, there is bound to be one of the firemen doing it, or will be… some time.
finescale magazines have them advertised all the time
They had one someone did in the readers gallery in a recent issue also. Don’t remember what month it was of hand though.
I must of missed that ad[]. That would make a great diorama for some one.

that would be a great dio to scratch build. There is so much out there from plastruct that you could scratch build anything! Are you talking about the pentagon flag scene? As long as you get the figures in your scale that are in the needed uniform, you can then cast them to replicate them and then saw them at the joints to re-position them and mended with putty. Why pay more money for multiple kits when you can make them yourself? There is so much satisfaction to a diorama when you build it from scatch, rather than buying a pre-made diorama that you made from someone else’s mold
I built (and sold this"America’s Heroes" by Warriors) a couple years ago. It’s a good, but pretty basic vignette. One figure has a poorly sculpted face but is workable. The base is evocative of the scene and I added some of the angled wall behind the guys and the second pole in the photo. The top of the flagpole needs to be fine tuned and the flag is ratehr stiff and would do ell being replaced with a softer material tha will hold folds. Including mine, I’ve seen this built 3 times ant the best was my buddy, Bill Grigg’s who scratchbuilt the entire base as well as adding all I did and more.
It is made by warriors. You can find it advertised in most of the past 1 or two years in FSM
