Hi, it’s time for the NX-01
i’ve been slow to get it started but I needed a little break after the Excelsior.
I’ve glued everything together and have just finished priming it in black. I painted the interiors of the nacelles before priming.
There really wasnt any thing to fix during assembly, it all went together neatly.
It the first time i’ve used masking putty, it works like a charm and comes of a lot more easily than the blue tack i’ve used previously. I also find it easier than masking tape unless you want straight lines.

That is looking fabulous!
Ah Yes, the ‘Wee NX-01’
Fun little kit!
Silly Putty is another great option for masking irregular shapes.
I built this kit several years ago using the Aztek Dummy paint masks. A bit tedious, but the results speak for themself!

What colors are you planning on using???
The same ones as YouTuber modelchili, gunmetal for the hull. I’m using metal color from Vallejo.

Gloss coat done, now moving on to decals.
That is a spectacular build. And fast too!
