Yes, looking up the kit number on the box, that Tornado is 1/48! Sweet! And being Revell it should cost less than HobbyBoss!!!
Yeah too right, I and probably more accurate in shape, I have never seen a Revell kit with so much detail, they really upped their game with that one, well they’re one of my favourite companies and I have the 1/32 HE111 to build yet, but I am getting that Tornado definitely! Is there a release date yet for it? I love the Chinese releases but they’re so expensive.

Just an educated SWAG, but based off of past experience, I will say that Revell’s Tornado will cost 1/2 to 2/3 less than the Hobbyboss kit.

What’s with the sudden influx of 1/72 F-35s? Italeri, Academy and now Hasegawa? It’s nice and all but how about a new 1/48 F-35. No offense to the Kitty Hawk offerings but the reviews I’ve read are pretty abusive to them.
Stu, yes, it was a 229. They are also releasing a Do 335. Personally, I am hoping Revell will follow suit.
And don’t forget the Fujimi F-35. Personally, I am waiting until they are all out and then make a choice, but it will most likely be Hasegawa.
A nice range of kits on offer there, still no early version of the 251 from Dragon though, the wait goes on.
