I have to admit that I’m underwhelmed. The only thing that interests me is the Valentine, but I want one with the sand-shields to hide those rubber-band tracks. The texture on it looked awfully thick and out of scale, though I have no clue on how accurate it is.
Bill - I searched through DML and saw the LVT… [:O]…the excitement was building…[:P]…a new LVT A4…[H]…I was all set to cheer…[:D]…then…[:|]…I saw the box in the background…[bnghead]…1:72…[:'(] At my age 1:72 is [:XX]
Thanks for trying…it looks like a [|-)] year for OD…Tigerman stated it well…unimpressive…even some of the new figures released were dull
Wow, thanks for the bevy of excellent pics. At least something for everyone to look forward to this year. Also, HobbyBoss 1/35 M1070 HET?!?!? Could it be?
Didn’t catch the 1/72 scale on the LVT, but I suppose there’s hope it might up-scale to 1/35? I’m not sure the Sdkfz 222 isn’t 1/72 scale either now that I look closer at the pics…the PE mesh looks kind of thick as does some of the tool and jerry can details…so maybe my enthusiasm was pre-mature. If so, then I would have to agree that the announcements don’t have much to light my fire either in the end. [:(]
Though I do believe Bronco has a New Mold Sdkfz.223 in 1/35 running around somewhere? and the DML 222 it is 1/72 scale. It is going to be DML’s usual 1+1 combo set like the Bradley and Humvee kits.
