I bought this kit off of e-bay about 7-8 years ago. It’s sat in my collection of “To Do” for some time. Though it’s a nude model I’ve taken precautions to hide the fiddly bits, the parts that may tittilate some of our younger members, or might ofend some of our more PC members.
Anyway, here are a couple of WIP shots. I really need to get this done and dress it up. the thing is, I really can’t decide where to go with it. Do I do her nude, or do I do her in some mode of undress, or do I do her clothed with her attributes showing?

I didn’t know anything about recasting at the time, but I suspect this is a project that was recast from several different kits, but since I don’t have unmittigated proof, I can’t make that assumption.
You have optional clothing for the kit? Damn cool. If the clothing has hidden seams, it could be a good idea to use some magnets and make the clothes removable? I’ve done this with a few kits: *warning, a bit of unpainted nudity: http://www.gamerabaenre.com/saber_wf06_prog.htm
There are sources for cheap rare earth magnets of various sizes that would work great for such an application. Plus it makes for a cool little gimmick to have removable clothing
Agreed on the magnets. I am finding more and more uses for them and I can get cheaper, lower powerd Rare Earth type at Hobby Lobby. I can get much smaller (3/16" by 1/8") online for a few dollars, just search for Rare Earth magnets and you will find a few suppliers.
For keeping figures like this upgright without having to solidly mount them to a base (like my Kempfer, a total beeeotch to move) magents work great.
I’ll have to try the magnets idea, but I think I’m going to go with nude on the paint job and then I’ll put some Barbie, or other clothes on her for pictures. Wish I could come up with a silver, cat suit for her, or maybe an optional Borg out fit…???
If you wanted to do a catsuit (which I think would be much easier than a Borg outfit) you could use something like Mr. Surfacer 1200 which is a very fine putty. You could apply a very thin layer to serve as the clothing. The down side is you loose some of the body detail. However,if you keep the layer thin enough, it should work very well.
One caveat: If the model is vynel [my spelling is awful!] I don’t know how Mr. Surfacer will react the material. . . . Worst case is you end up with a pile of goo, inestead of a figurine.
My unrepentant opnion is “nekkid, nekkid, and more nekkid the better” LOL! [(-D] I got NOOOO problem with nekkid chick figures. I wouldn’t show her off at the local PTA meeting, but for your private collection? Why not?
