Why did I get a separate transmission and other parts not called for in the Kit? Usually Tamiya will give you a parts Map with the parts not to be used singled out. They didn’t on this one. Oh, and I am still waiting on the John Player decals
I will say this much the plastic sure polishes up nice with Colgate Toothpaste! Not the GEL! Sooo, I don’t guess I will do anything but a clearcoat! Mainly to protect those decals!
Recently, I have noticed that sometimes Tamiya puts little Easter eggs in their kits like that. I know its not a car, but my Tamiya F-4B included a stabilator and chute door for pre-1968 aircraft, and neither one of them are mentioned anywhere in the instructions. I was glad they did though, since I’m building it as a Marine Corps Phantom that was deployed to VietNam in 1966. Wish I had known about those Easter eggs before I went through the painstaking process of removing the leading edge tabs on the stabilators called out in the instructions…still thrilled to find them though.
