So for a long time, like others, I have not been able to get notifications. Seems I cant use Gmail either if I want to keep my current account info. as when i change to gmail it get wiped. Now i have to go to email notifications in settings to search for previous posts - but seems that doesnt work either as i now get this notify administrator message. Also, again for some reason my name does not show that im logged in. Is there anyone who can help me get these solved? Thank you very much…
Ok, still looking for suggestions… Today I made another cox email and changed to that and the system didnt associate the login to that email either - i had a blank account when i logged in - just like gmail… Its like i wasnt even logged in - it asked me to create a user id even though i was logged in.
This site has always been a bit frustrating; if I type a long, well researched response, there is a 99% chance that when I hit the blue “submit your reply” button, that the post will vanish.

Experienced that moment of exasperation a few times myself, I use my phone mainly and I’ve taken to notepad to type copy and save to myself. I then paste in reply and hit the button; if it blinks into oblivion no problem back to my note and recopy if it does not repaste that is.

ok, not sure what caused the issue - changing from gmail to cox email a year ago or what??? But i think its all sorted now.
Yes, I’ve learned to right click, select all, copy and then hit the reply. That way when the forum hiccups, I can repaste it to a new reply. But every once in a while you forget, I often just don’t reply when that happens.
Did you ever get a fix for this? I’m also trying to switch my email thinking my provider is the bottleneck but the site will not change it even though it tells me the email was changed.
