Closing Soon: FRANKS (Futenma)

Still Open: SHIMA (Futenma); Yonkundo (Awase); Bike Shop #2 (Okinawa City); Yamada Denki (small collection kept at this electronics chain store)

Mainland Japan still have large department stores with kits as well as a few mom and pop stores struggling to stay open.

Forgot to mention Yonabaru Hobby Shop, north of Yonabaru circle. If the owners little white mini-van with Tamiya red and blue stars painted on it, is parked in front of the store, then he’s open for business. No set time for his opening or closing. Its a gamble driving south from base to see if he’s open. Neat little shop. Worth seeing. Happy Modeling and Model Collecting! dogbone
