Looks like I’m fixed. I now have full access on my iPhone, laptop, and PC.
I also had trouble and got a message that my password needed to be reset. I called customer service and was told a change the magazine made requires I reestablish my link and set a new password that’s now different from the old one because it needs both letters and a numeral. I understand things like this happen but when I asked the customer rep if any announcement that this was coming was made he said no. That’s horrible customer service. Changes should be announced before going live My connection now works again and all’s well but I wonder if you’ve learned any lessons. I hope so.
Anyone else still having problems, other than me?
Jeff,
Sorry for the inconvenience. I was not made aware of the password changes made necessary by the changeover or I would have made everyone aware. I’m going to post a general announcement now and hopefully that will address some of the problems users have encountered. Thanks for the heads up.
Cheers, Aaron
Yep, still having to sign in every time, not able to enter code for subscriber only content and can’t access account to change password, but my old password is still working.
I could log in on my phone but not my computer. I get a “failed to load” message when trying.
Ok. Per general announcement called and reached customer service who couldn’t help and did not seem aware of issues.
I have just received congratulations on changing my password from FS. Only I didn’t cause I can’t log in.
Are you able to log in with the new password?
I’ve been locked out for the past two days. Every time I click ‘Login’ or ‘Register’ I get a message saying “The content failed to load”. I couldn’t even use my phone because it doesn’t connect to the internet. I’m posting this from my local library.
It seems to be differant for differant people. I am still ableto use my old password, which does not contain numbers as the new one requires. It just won’t save it.
Hello All -
FINALLY! After 3 days and talking to 6 different Customer Service Reps (5 that had no clue of what was going on) I finally spoke to a young woman name “Jill” she got me lined out in 1 minute…login as normal and make sure to check “keep me login” box then press enter…it took me right in.
Aaron, if you read this please inform this young woman that she was an immense help and that she saved me from heavy withdrawls (lol). It’s a shame that the other five women I spoke with had no idea of the problem nor the remedy. It’s great to be back in.
When I checked in on FSM a few minutes ago I seen I was booted off but I log back in with no problems.
Yep, i keep that box checked, but still have to log in. Funny thing is, i am still useing my old password, which i thought was supposed to not work as it has no numbers.
I’ve just now tried a different browser - Microsoft Edge - and it let me log right in with my original password. I had problems with Edge when I first switched to Windows 10, but that’s another story. Why if let me use Edge when IE is still blocked, I don’t know.
But I’m not complaining.
I think there’s two issues at play here.
I can log onto the FSM page using my old user name and password. I have the “keep me logged in” box checked, but it does time out after I’ve been off the page for a while.
The second issue, I think, relates to Kalmbach’s overall customer database. If you click on “update account” it requires you to log in. If you select “log in using your email and password”, it will reject your existing password, even though you are still logged into the FSM page.
The next thing I tried was the “forgot my password” option to reset my password. Upon entering my email address and reconfirming, it returns a message “Please enter a valid email address” Yet this is the same email address which I used to log in to the FSM page.
Following Sailor Steve’s lead I too am posting live now after switching to Edge browser.
Same password with no numbers??? hmmmm…if it ain’t broke why fix it.
Site will not keep you logged in but logged in again no problem, so far.
We appear to be Yin and Yang on this Templar. My laptop keeps me logged in with no problems. But I can not log into the site on my phone still. I really do hope that they correct this bug early next week. I expect no work to occur on the problem over the weekend.
