Good morning! We’re in Minnesota today to cover NNL North. Photos will be incoming all day, so remember to check in to see what’s on the tables.
nice! Always enjoy these posts.
Great! Thanks for posting pictures Tim. I’ve got a buddy who was going to drive up from the Eagle River show and then drive over for that show.
Man those are nice! Love seeing the ninja in there, not many bike builders and they are so fun to build. The paint on all of them is amazing!
Great looking builds! It’d be very difficult being a judge and having to select a winner.
Because it’s an NNL, there’s People’s Choice, but no judging. Super chill atmosphere and lots of fun.
Dude! Such amazing work! I cant imagine my builds coming out looking like this. That is wild.
Really nice stuff on the tables. Oddly enough - I like the forest service truck best.
Thanks again for going and posting these photos Tim. I even saw a friend’s name on the registration paper under his model. I am constantly amazed at the finishes these modelers get on their cars and vehicles.
My pleasure, Tom, and all part of what we do at FSM. The show gallery for NNL North will be up in the next few days on Show Galleries | Finescale Modeler Magazine. If you don’t mind me asking, who did you recognize from the registration sheet?
The finishes on these models are quite impressive. I don’t build many shiny things, but this gives me a lot of inspiration moving forward on my Auto builds. My favorite is the dragster with the hydro dipped flames. Would love to have that on my shelf. Thanks for all the photos.
Tim, It was Bob K. with the white Nissan wagon. I believe the sports car in the Gulf scheme might also belong to another modeling friend, though the name was blocked from view.
Bob’s a great guy and excellent builder. That Gulf is by Don Molitor. And you know how I feel about Gulf liveries. ![]()
DON’T YOU SAY AN UNKIND WORD ABOUT THE GULF!
That’s right. Not a single bad word about Gulf. As Aussie markings were to Aaron, Gulf is to Kidwell.
