Next on the bench

This is the Eduard PE set I’ll be using on my next build. Its been a while since I’ve built an aircraft from this country.

It looks to be as nice as the set I used on my Stuka. Can’t wait to get started !

looks like hours of pure, unadulterated fun my friend. i’ll be looking for the pics as i cant figure out what kit that PE sheet would go to. later.

saltydog - enlarge the pic, then look at the top left corner of the fret. [8D]

Looks like you have bought jewels for your beloved AM TBM Avenger [:D].

Its gonna be another masterpiece!

Regards, Dan

eager to see this one pix. with your attention to detail this should be a masterpiece.

joe

Looking forward to it, Pix!

Good luck on the Avenger. The AM kit is a great kit and I am sure you’ll do it justice.

looking forward to seeing this one. i’m sure it’ll be a masterpiece.
Greg

I agree, it should be great. The only problem is that the paint job is going to be too easy for you Pix. [:D][;)]

Mike

Thanks for the vote of confidence Anthony, Dan, fightinjoe, J-Hulk, Rick, gregers, & Mike V !

I’ve built three other AM Avenger kits (all damaged in moving), but without PE. This set looks like it will REALLY add to an already terriffic model.

Mike V - I’m doing the three-color camo (overall sea blue being WAY too boring for me !). I just need to find some better decals.

Thanks again, you know I’ll post in-progress pics !

Can’t wait to see it, Pix!

me neither!![:D]

me too again!

Wicked cool Pix…you’ve done wonders for the Luftwaffe-- can’t wait to see your USN production…

Thanks Kolja, nmayhew, obiwan, & Jeeves !

I’ve started adding the PE to the kit. I build by color (assemble all the interior parts that I can, then paint). I’ll have pics of the installed pieces today or tomorrow.

Hey Pix, sounds like fun. This should be no problem for you to build. I cant wait to see the pics of this build. Have fun.

Another Stuka huh??? Cant wait! Mine is a waiting for the canopy…about 3 months ago!!! Im lazy…[:-^]

No one beats you for quantity or quality. Yes, pics, Pix!!

Pix,

Like the others, I’m also looking forward to seeing your version of this domestic turkey bird - I’m just calling it that cuz it was a nick name - I know that you wouldn’t produce a “turkey” of a model… Are you kidding ! I did a 1/72 Turkey in an atlantic scheme a while back. It was great fun. It’s a pretty unique plane - that’s the kinda thing I look for in a model. I’m sure you’ll do it up great. I’ve got a Hellcat that I’m planning on doing in the tri-color scheme in the (hopefully) not too distant future. Haven’t done a tri-color yet so it should be an interesting addition to the shelf.
