Newly retired and starting back up my modeling. I did some classic muscle cars way back when, but I have some aircraft lined up now. I have also done miniatures for Bolt Action.

Greetings! This a great place to hang out, get ideas, and learn new stuff to improve your modeling skills. I am currently working on this A10 model that I picked up at Hobby Lobby, with their discount and after tax about $11. Can’t really beat that for a model these days.

I got back into modeling fairly recently myself after being away from it for a very long time, and aircraft have pretty much taken over my bench — and apparently my stash as well.
I also have a little bit of a Marine connection. I went through Marine Corps OCS years ago while pursuing the aviation route, although I ultimately didn’t go on to serve as a Marine. That experience did leave me with a lifelong interest in aviation, though, and quite a few USMC aircraft have found their way into my collection.
This forum has been a huge help to me. There are some incredibly talented builders here, and I’ve learned a ton just by following other people’s builds and asking questions.
