As the title on the tin says, I picked up this book (as well as many back issue mags from FSM…), and one project which peeked my interest as a new scale modeler was this nice little project.

That build looks awesome! How did you find the pre-shading part? Was it tricky to get the transitions looking smooth, or did the guide help a lot with that?

It’s tricky and thankfully there is more kits to try out for this technique. The book shows it in still pictures obviously but the execution on how to actually do it is up to you. Great on the basics explained I think.
Looks great to me. Good Job and as you progress tonew models you’ll get more comfortable with the technique.
