Hello all…my name is Mark, I’m 52 years old with the same story that I’m sure many of you guys and gals have heard before…I used to build models as a kid, got older, got into cars and high school then college got in the way etc etc etc. About 2 years ago, my wife asked what I wanted for Christmas and I just thought “get me a cheap air brush and compressor, I want to learn how to spray paint”. So, I still suck at it but I’m having fun…I stumbled on Finescale magazine at the local Barnes and Nobles and so here I am.
I’ve been building for 72 of my 78 years and I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time. My favorites are WWI and WWII planes followed by sailing ships as you can see from my avatar.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions as that is the reason that we are here. The members are very knowledgeable and always ready to help out with any questions or problems.
Soooooooooo, sit back, have a few sips of your favorite brew whether it be [C], [B], [D] or my favorite [t$t], put on your favorite background music and enjoy the hobby.
