Hello, My Name is Korky, I used to build kits a long time ago, and what got me started again is the larger scale kits and the pre-built models from 21st Century that I do mods to.
I find this site to be very user friendly, and full of info from very experienced modelers and all around good “Joes”!
I live in Illinois, married with 6 children, (yes I said 6)
I am in the process of building a 1/18th dio, with scratch built buildings, dragonsteeth and alot of other things.
Never built a Dio, so I got alot of simple but probably to you guys

Thanx Guys!! Yeah, I’ts a hard scale to get alot of detail in, and I find it quite a task to find anything that goes with it. On my smaller stuff, a simple pass of a dry brush and whalaa!!! with this scale whalaa is AUHHHHHHHH!!!
But I love WWII Armour and Aircraft, not much into the modern stuff…but when I was a kid…modern was the Saber Fighter!!!
6 kids and a 1/18th scale dio…wow!
