New modern pics added

Finally got a little time to play with my camera soooo, I put up some updated shots of my modern armor. I’ve spent some time detailing a few pieces and did a little weathering. I’ve finished out an M1A1, M-977, and an M2A2 in the last month.

Enjoy.

That’s a pretty neat dio pathfinder. Like how you have a little bit of everything mixed in.

That’s one big dio, you have some cool stuff in there.

Very nice dio. And very large. Well done!

If I had more megapixles in my camera I could get the real close up shots some of the other members were asking for a while back. I’ve done a lot of work making nylon straps and working over the stowage on the Bradley and Abrams. I’ve gotten into a habit of keeping 4 or 5 models in progress so that when I get in the “casting mood”, I make enough for several models in one evening. I’ve taken a little break from building helos and I’m trying to get all the armor detailed. I guess I should put up some shots of the armor and vehicles on a simple background so the scenery doesn’t overshadow the models. I think I’ll some outdoor daylight shots tomorrow. I used to have “grow lights” shining on the display and it provided really great natural looking light for pictures but they don’t last nearly as long as florescent bulbs. The flash on the camera washes out the weathering too much.

Looking real good Pathfinder. Thanks for sharing.

Impressive pathfinder … most impressive.

Very large dio.
That’s got some cool goodies in there, you could always scan a regular photo and upload it, I’ve done that a few times.

Thanks too all. I’m glad you like the progress. Special thanks to Shermanfreak, some time back you and I talked about a few out of the ordinary techniques for making stowage, nylon straps, etc. I’ve turned into a tape monster!. It’s a little rough slitting the tape down to 1/16" inch wide strips but after painting and drybrushing it works like a dream for atttaching the packs, etc.

Great job, pathfinder. Must have a big room to store all that in! Very impressive.

wow, looks awesme.
