I visited a new LHS yesterday,though it really was too far to call local.He had an Italieri M-7 still wrapped So I grabbed it along with some other good finds.As I was checing out he said " you oughta just wait because …?.. Announced they were making 1 & it will be a better 1.He had got this info From Perth.For the life of me I can’t remember which manufacturer he mentined.Anyone hear these rumblings to.I tend to believe him because he was losing a sale by telling me this. Academy is the manufacturer and you can expect that kit to be released around june of this year if my memory is good. Perth site says mid 2007.

Now there’s an honest LHS operator…most would have just smiled and let you walk out the door with it…of course, OTH, he probably would make a better profit off you on the new kit vs. the old one, so perhaps it’s a combination of honesty and good business sense too. [:D]
I dunno, I knew the LHS operators back in my hometown…well…30 mi from my hometown pretty well. They were al IMPS’ers and were really nice. They new a lot of what was coming out, and we could talk about tank stuff (I never get to do that face to face with people) and stuff, it was great. Now, here at college, it seems that I could get on a basis with the LHSers again. They were really nice too-one was a scratchbuilder, so I can pick him over for knowledge when I delve into that realm (i’m planning to do it very soon, with my new 7TP tank). He even offered to show me some great glue-which he did after I had already purchased my standard kind. 
BTW is that plastiweld type stuff really great?
