New guy

Hello all. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a motorcycle restorer by summer and a scale model builder by winter (cars and bikes). I have been building models for a while but suddenly find myself really interested in improving my skills, particularly painting and decals. Looks like this is the place for to learn. Glad to be here.

Welcome, I’m sure you’ll find all kinds of tips and help here.

Hi Scott05 and welcome, hope to read your posts soon like you i am restoring a bike although it isn’t that old (but it probably will be by the time i have finished it LoL) its a CB 125 twin and its a total wreck with its wiring loom hacked to shreads and every panel battered and no lights, its only good feature is its got a good set of wheels…later…Greg

Welcome to FSM scott. Bikes are not my thing but some guys here might be able to help you out. Have a good day.

welcome scott, youve come to the right place for tips and ideas, look forward to seeing some of your work.

I wrote a bit but obviously to a wrong pidgeon hole. I prefer road commuting vehicles but I also find satisfaction in aircrafts (civilian and military as well). I hope to find new friends and mates in glue, paint and dilutant sniffing.

Welcome Scott! Always nice to have someone with first-hand access to the ‘real’ stuff when it comes to detailing. Have fun and don’t be shy!!

Welcome Scott, my last restore job was a 1968 Trimuph Trident (3 Cylinder) at least until the lady who first words were “i didn’t see him coming” pull out in front of me, and then there was the City bus.

Welcome and enjoy the forum!

Wellcome aboard scott…hope you have a good time here
