A gentleman by the name of Mark Marples living in the United Kingdom has recently started a new forum dedicated to the subject of the Strategic Air Command of the US Air Force. There are only 4 members so far, but it seems to have a lot of potential. Being a 15 year veteran of SAC and a modeler, I pretty much HAD to join.

A word of advice to the forum administrators. I used Freeforums.org about 4 years ago. I just visited their support forum and seems like the old issues are after them. Unless the SAC forum is a temporary endeavor, I would suggest to acquire a domain and a cheap hosting package at Go Daddy. At 1st I felt dependent to their forums because I did not know anything about PHP. In 3 months I wasn’t an expert but enough to go with a forum on my own. If they consider changing, they are still on time to do it because the database is new and there are just a few members and topics. The database from FreeForums is encrypted, so if one wants to move, one has to pay for an non-encrypted version of our own forum.
Should they decide to acquire a domain, Go Daddy has a wizard to install Joomla, PHPBB3, SMF or even Wordpress. Noobs proof [:D]
