I’ve been told these were released in August, but this is the first I’ve seen them.

The lids are now flip-tops combined with the screw off top. When you flip the top open, there’s an extended lip on the inside. When flipping the lid open, it prevents the paint from running all over the inside of the cap and down the bottle. Nice feature.

The new colors are nice too. Terracotta, Desert Yellow, Catachan Green, Graveyard Earth, Kommando Yellow, and Tanned Flesh.

I was at Hobbytown last week and I thought it odd all their Citadel Paints were on sale for 40% off. Now it makes sense. Probably to clear the shelves for the new stuff.

The only one that I’ve picked up is the Catachan Green, just because it’s a great base for modern infantry camo. The lids are a throwback to the pots they had 5 years ago, except the older ones didn’t quite seal right. Time will tell if fthese are any improvement, but I am hopeful.
BTW, if you happen to see a store that is getting rid of their old paint pots, grab 'em! They may dry out over a couple of years, but can you really beat the price? They’re still great paints!

like the new tops but not sure how secure they will prove. beats cleaning the srew top after my sons been at them
