But surely the P-38 listed as 1/35 will in fact be 1/32, no?
Or is Academy trying to break open a new 1/35 aircraft market??

I wonder what version is the 1/72 P-40? They have already the P-40B in Flying Tigers marking, P-40E Aleutian Tiger, and the P-40N/M.

The Helldiver does sound most interesting of the lot. Definitely needs attention in the scale world.

Just wish someone would make a 1/72 BAC Lightning series with current tooling technologies.

See some good ones on there. But when are the manufacturers going to start doing some of the many aircraft that need to be done. Bryan

Since Academy surprised everyone (well, me anyway) with their Allyson Mustang maybe the P-40 will be a new F model ! I wonder if the F-8 will be a Navy E or if they are going to do a J /FN. Now if they would do a C/D Crusader I will be happy. And the Helldiver does sound interesting.[8D]

Actually Nichimo released 1/35 scale aircraft kits several years ago probably 10 years ago. and besides 1/35 scale is the same as 1/32 scale.I’m just hoping that they will do a 1/35 scale MH-53E sooner or later.

I agree w/ Falcon. I wish someone would come out with something like a new-tool F9F Panther, B-52H or even a B-18! Just my $.02;-p Calvin

I hoped they would have released a 1/35 SH-60B Seahawk helicopter and completed the HH-60 family. But the F-18D will be nice.[:p]

Do you know what version of the tomcat is coming?? I hope it’s at least a “B” or a “D.” The F/A-18D in 1/32 sounds cool.

Actually, a -D would be kinda cool. Minimal effort to backdate it to a -B. I think they got some 2-seaters at NSWAC but I’d have to double check. A big Hornet in camo; now that’s neat! - Calvin

Wow… a Ju-87G-2… this must be better than the Italeri kit… I wonder if Academy will release a German bomber kit… maybe someday…
