Classic Monty Python
The right arm will be positioned to reach down like he just found a skull… I mean an egg, an easter egg
The boy is assembled. I’ll paint this figure separately from the basket then glue it on the handle later.
Your scratch building work on this “vision” is awesome. The way that you sculpted the fur and blended it in to the wolf’s body and those gnarled paws and claws are so great. You’re getting closer to the finish line!
Very kind words. I just sprayed them with a coat of primer. Grey acrylic lacquer automotive over the Bunny and white Tamiya fine surface over the boy. I plan to start painting today.
This has been fun to watch. I’m getting excited for the final result!
Wow! That “Bunny” is huge compared to the child and those ears make it look more menacing, if that’s possible. I love it!!!
Yes, the bunny can pop a child’s whole head in it’s mouth like a … a boiled egg
The child set the scale to 1/35. At first the bunny scale was ambiguous.
Thanks for your compliment.
Well now, that’s horrifying.
This build reminds me of something that the movie director Tim Burton would think up.
You didn’t happen to be watching “Night of the Lepus” when you got the inspiration for this?
Love the clawed fingers. I wonder how it would have looked with bunny feet and velociraptor talons…
Oh, man. It’s been many years since I watched that classic. Thanks for the reminder!
Had to look that one up. Looks crazy cheese good.
Your whole Easter bunny reminds me of the chupacabra creature in UFO lore.
My research indicates that they are related
This is so COOL! It’s like how scary the original fairy tales were when they first came out.
Very kind words. Much appreciated.
This was sort of my intent. Making it look like an old silent movie set.
