Need info on Ernst Barkmann's Panther

Hey guy’s I was looking up some more info on Panther’s and I came across Panzer ace Ernst Barkmann, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernst_Barkmann ,and I would like to know if anyone could could tell were I might find a pic or a color print of one of his Panther’s.

Thank’s,Steve

Here’s a few pics of his that I built. I can’t remember exactly where my reference where, but I did some pretty serious rsearch on it. The figure is also Barkmann.

It was a Panther A, # 424.

Hey doog thank’s.I’m planning on picking up a couple of Panther’s this weekend(an A and D)and I want to build the A as Barkmann’s Panther during the battle of the bulge when it was rammed by an M4.One other thing, would he have had an A or a G during this battle?

Sweet build by the way.

Hmmm…I would think by the Bulge, he would have had a “G”, but I can’t be sure.

The “A” that I built was the “Bakmann’s Corners” one, where he single-handedly wiped out a whole mess of Shermans.

This was the Italeri Panther A, with the kit-included zimmerit, by the way…

Doog thank’s again.I think I’ll go with the G.

I found some more info on him last night including the written account of the action envolving the sherman.Apparently he was the one who drove thru an american held town during the bulge.I also found this print of the"Barkmann’s Corner".

Barkmann’s Panther in the Battle of the Bulge was an early Ausf G, tactical number 401. Good luck researching this vehicle, I don’t think I have much of anything…[sigh]

An Ausf G it is then, thank’s Kykeon. Here’s a link to his after action reports and his combat record http://www.geocities.com/alkantolga/panzerace/ernst.htm
