Hello, I am quite new here so pardon if im posting in the wrong area.
I recently acquired a Trumpeter 1/550 minsk aircraft carrier, where the top flight deck is divided in 3 parts, one of which came with a horribly warped edge, almost as if it was struck by heat or something.
My question is, is there somewhere where I can order a replacement for this? Or is there someone who just so happens to have a spare of this particular piece? Any help at all is deeply appreciated. I really don’t want to buy a new model despite it being rather affordable because I already bought one and it shouldn’t have any defects. It’s quite disheartening to buy a kit, open it, only to realize, one of the main pieces is ruined beyond repair.
Also, I tried trumpeters spare part website and it doesnt work for me, I get a white error screen that says “cann’t connect to DB!”
I am aware that Trumpeter rereleased this kit as far as I know, where you can make either the Kiev or the Minsk, but other than that, the tooling and pieces are exactly the same as this one.
