My father in law served on the USS Josephus Daniels, DLG 27 (CG 27) Guided Missle Destroyer. It was a Belknap class ship. I’ve seen pictures of an uncompeted model but I don’t know who made it. Any help would be appreciated.
He mentioned how much he would like to find a model of his ship.
This was the one I had found, but it made no mention of who the kit was by.
From the photos of the model on the Daniels website, the parts breakdown looks to be similar to those shown on the Iron Shipwright/Commanders Series link.
The ISW kit is 1:350 scale, like the one mentioned on the Daniels site. The decal sheet for the Horne (CG30) has numbers & name for the Daniels (CG27).
