Need a little preview...

Hey everyone![8D] I’m going to build Revell Germany’s 1/72 He 177 A-5. It’s a huge German bomber that looks like it was a late war project for the germans. Has anyone built this before? It looks like a monster to build. Is it a good kit? Any help with what I’m going to encounter would be great![:D] Thanks!

This kit just came out right? I’m not sure it was offered before Revell’s release or not, but i could be wrong. Sure would like to build it though.

Haven’t built it but it has gotten mostly good reviews. Should make an impressive model. MPM just announced a 1/48 kit of this beast.

Regards, Rick

Personally, I’ve never built it before. But I would like to own one! The only other kit of a He 177 I know of is a 1:72 Airfix kit, and somewhere an overpriced 1:48 kit. But every review I’ve read said this kit is heads and shoulders above the rest! (From what I hear,) The kit has been praised for it’s fit, detail, accuracy, and cost compared to what you get. The Fritz X guided bombs are real gems too, I hear. The only bad thing I’ve heard about this kit is the front canopy is a little thick, obscuring the excellent interior detail a little. But hey, nothing a dunk in Future can’t fix!

Besides, Revell Germany is a pretty good manufacturer. I’ve got about five kits from them, all good. This kit is really a top of the line model. (A++!)

Let us know how the build goes, and sorry I can’t offer any personal insights. (This was all from kit reveiws on the internet.) [:D]
