My wife's summer cabin in plastic canvas

I am taking up the word of this topic of scratch building of ALL subjects. I would like to submit my wife’s plastic canvas project of a country log cabin vacation summer home. This view is of the inside of the structure. The lower floor will be the dining room and relax lounge with a fire place. The upper floor will be the bedrooms with a doub;e bed and a bunk bed.

This portion is the outside front of my wife’s log cabin summer home. The roof is yet to be attached with the inside furnished. The grounds around the cabin wil have an out house and lawn furnishings. The whole model will be attached ro a green felt covered board. More pictures will be posted as her progress continues.

Nice. We have a lady in one of my prospecting clubs that does dice sets and tic-tac-toe sets in that medium.

Anthony ;

Hi ! I have a landlady that does Tiny Homes in LEGO and H.O. Scale cabooses ( I still prefer my word , Cabeese) . It’s fascinating what she does . Would you believe a fully detailed bathroom in 1/87 scale ?

I have often wondered what kind of ship one could do in The material you show there . Might be fun to try to bust a slump . Thanks for the views ! T.B.

This is the progress so far on my wife’s plastic canvas vacation log cabin. Furnishings and small doll figures have been added inside the cabin. She still has to construct a base with a green felt simulated lawn. Additional structures will be a fire pit, a wishing well and a horse stable with scale figure horses inside the building. This project is put together with crochet yarn and plastic canvas grid. The yarn is woven into the grid to construct the building. Tiny furnishings were bought at Michael’s hobby store. Addition progress will be posted later.

Allo’

I showed the pics of your wife’s project to my land-lady . She was fascinated . My land-lady does Tiny Houses out of H.O. scale cabooses . I know I already told you that . This weekend past , at our train show I was able to pick up some H.O. furniture for her . T.B.

Hi;

Is she gonna put a lit fire in the fire-place ? If so I might come to visit . Looks comfy in there .

Thanks Tanker-Builder for your reply. My wife Rhonda, appreciates your response.

The wall paintings were made from small pictures on the computer, cut out and framed. Clear transparent plastic was used to simulate glass over the painting.

What is a porch without a rocking chair ? I hand made two rocking chairs, one for a child, the other adult size.

My wife had the good fortune to buy a small toy doll at Wal-Mart. Here, the same doll is rocking the warm summer away in idle bliss.
