Hi guys, I just want to share with you, the fact that I’m not the only modeler in our household.
My wife, Patricia loves modeling too, here are some pics of her at work and her work.
Obviously, on the first pic, she is NOT working on the truck of which the other pics are progress pictures [:)]
Here, she is working on the hull of the HMS Pandora (the ship that was sent out by the Royal Navy to find and catch the muters of the Bounty.

This proves that women are also great modellers, as she did an awsome job so far on that kit. And you can tell her i said so.lol Its great that you guys share a hobby, because now you dont have to explain why you bought a gallon of laquer thinner and floor polish for your models.lol
Your wife the modeler, yeh right. she is holding the hull of a spanish battleship, notice we never see her hands? I bet he builds the pants in the family[:D][:D][:D][:D]
Dear friend, it is obvious that you are not a ship modeler, the letters HMS stand for His (thesedays Her) Majestys Ship and are solely given to British ships of war…[}:)]

Well, if i go with rusty, id have to say that the pics were staged. I think we need some video of her actually building a kit. lol She does pretty good, for a girl. Just playin guys, sry.lol
I commend your lovely wife for a job well done, and for her willingness to let you make pictures while she’s doing it, as my wife would crack my skull if I posted her on here… (but then again, she doesn’t do models so there wouldn’t be much point) [:)]
Pay no attention to the Troll, [censored], because anyone who can make truck chasis look that good, has my vote, and I KNOW you’ve got to feel good having her share your hobby! [:)]
Hey Dan, I have an idea… whenever you’re going to post a build or progress shots, regardless who the builder is, see if you can get her to model them for the forum presentation? That way, she’d be the first official FSM “Model Model”! [:)]
Your wife is cool! It must be great having your wife share your hobby - though judging by the quality of her work it must be tough for you to keep up with her.
I notice you live in Belgium. I lived there too for a couple of years, and it was really great. We had a hobby table set up in front of a picture window. Some of my most pleasant memories from Belgium are of sitting in front of the window working on my models while my wife worked on her hobbies (unfortunately, not modeling). There’s nothing better than a model project and an glass of Chimay on a rainy Saturday afternoon…
First of all, I’ll commend the further progress on the German Truck build; impressive still! The Mrs. has it going on, and as was said earlier; “…though judging by the quality of her work it must be tough for you to keep up with her.”… that really is words of wisdom, in my case anyhow, because usually when I get mine started in something, she will soon surpass my abilities… Chess, for instance, which I taught her about 9 years ago, now I find it near impossible to gain any advantage in our after-dinner challenge matches to see who’ll do the dishes! (modeling with wrinkly fingers) [:D]
Secondly, the presentation of the Italeri American Superliner upcoming project is GREAT, and justly inaugurates THE very first [party]Model Model[party]!! [8D]

Indeed, Frank it is really getting tough, especially since I’m currently working on an amored vehicle, which is really not my specialty (unlike planes and choppers [:)]), and I feel the pain when comparing her truck with my M113 Zelda http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26108
