So, I had let my subscription lapse because I just couldn’t swing $40 a year, although FSM is a great mag that I enjoy getting in the mail every month.
Then we sold our rental property in an adjacent town, and with the profits off that, we’d been catching up on repairs and upgrades to our own home so I’d forgotten all about the subscription.
Yesterday, when I pulled the October issue out of the mailbox and walked up to the house, she said, ‘Oh, yeah, I re-upped you for that. I forgot how many years I bought.’. LOL turns out it was 3. A nice surprise for sure.
Ok, done bragging.

She is just trying to keep you from seeing how much she spent on remodeling…
But who cares!!! you have three years till you notice the kitchen is all stainless steel.
Compared to remodeling, modeling is dirt cheap.

At one point my family and I were considering the possibility of moving in with my mother-in-law. She has a 3500 square foot house and we could easily fit in but she would have had to have done some significant remodeling first. My jaw just about hit the floor when my wife insisted to her mom that I have an area to work on my models built into her house.
Super long story short, we did not move in (for the sake of our sanity). But the bottom line is that you have to love those spouses who are nothing but supportive of our hobby.
