my tamiya gloster meteor

well, here’s the gloster meteor I started on right after my me262. comments and criticisms welcome.

very nice gloster. From; Gloucester Ma.

Definately colorful.

I know it looks kind of wacky, but when I was doing research for my school project on jet engines, I came across a picture of a meteor painted in a similar scheme. I cannot find it now though.

Looks very cool! In what scale?

looks good m1!!

its tamiya’s 1/48

Nice build & paint job, but what colors did you use? Can’t recall seeing this scheme on a Meteor, most were Dark Green/Ocean Grey.

their Humbrol 86 (green) and 68 (purple). I only saw the one plane with this scheme on the internet. don’t know if it would be an actual RAF scheme or not, but I liked it.

What that scheme is to hide them among the ballons in the Macy’s parade, LOLOLOL.

Looks good to me. I like seeing unusual paint schemes. BTW where did you hide the treads?

Very nice build on a cool lookin’ subject, Chris. Great photos, too.

I agree, different colors really make it unique.

What’s next?

stinger

Very nice thanks for the peek.

Thats a nasty lookin bird(nasty in a good way).
The first picture is at a nice mean angle , its so squat.
Lovely build do the engines come standard?

looks cool man. keep sharin’ and i’ll keep starin’. later.

Hey - looks good! Thanks for sharing, man.

yep engines come withthe kit, it also comes with regular or clear engine panels.
