Well as I posted in the welcome my son Cory (10) and I started doing models as father and son time. He does everything and I just watch and answer any questions. Well here is his first model even though its not completely finished yet. We still have some decals to do. A Mustang and I think he did a pretty good job but tthen again Im bias [:D]
You’re starting Cory off on the right foot! [:)] It’s apparent that he already has the aptitude, and you’re providing the opportunity, so I predict Cory can look forward to a wonderful lifelong hobby! A splendid gift indeed!
Outstanding! I remember my first model aircraft… glue oozing out of all the seams. Your son did good, and good on you for giving him direction and not doing it for him!
Thank you all for the very kind replies. Tankmaster it is rattle canned. We had alot of fun doing this together and cant want to start on the next one. Again thank you all!
Great start Cory. You have some natural talent or your dad is a really good instructor, I suspect a little of both. Welcome to the forums and thanks for sharing.
Very nice! Very nice indeed!
I remember building models with my dad back in the day…[:D]
Those are some of my fondest memories as a kid!
A+ to Cory for such fine work, and A+ to you for being a good Dad!
Cool!! I started an airplane model with my son last year (10 also) and it is mostly finished except for a little more paint and decals. Turns out it was just practice for his new passion… Warhammer!!! Your airplane turned out very nice Cory.
