Hi.
as I was sitting on my couch with nothing to do, I suddenly came up with an idea.
from the little spare parts, I’m going to make little everyday objects, like iPods ands stuff like that.
this thread is for all the members to post comments and questions and for me to post pics and current projects
my current project:
iPod
can anyone tell me the scaled dimension for 1/35 and 1/48?
I don’t have an iPod so I don’t know the real dimensions…[V][:D]
nobody has an iPod nor a scaled dimension?
I guess no body does. I know i don’t. Sorry, can’t help much [:)]
ipod waz that? JUst kidding I dont have one ill try to get the dimensions though.
Now if you make a 1/35 scale iPod that works, I will be greatly impressed.

hey check out the apple website, coz im sure i have seen the dimensions on a flyer, so it would prob b somewhere on there…
on a side note, i read in a mag that a aftermarket comp (detail master?) is selling p/e ‘misc’ items, like sunglasses, cds, spanners… all kinds of crap that u find in cars… i think i read about it in TMMI, issue b4 the current one, i thinks…
Your iPod will be .07 by .12 inches in 1/35 scale. and .04 by .09 inches in 1/48.
wow some great info here!
I already have a piece of sprue label that I can use for the iPod.
MartinJK cram it al in there! (the mechanisms)
