My second armor piece!! Can i have some advice and help!!!!!

I’ll echo everyone else.

Get the 25 Pounder and join the group build!

And have FUN!

BTW: I’d just build it OOB. Don’t worry about resin or PE. The kit’s pretty detailed as it is. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks, i have decided to do an OOB, and spend a larger chunck of time learning how to do wethering and a base

That’s what i’m prscticing now weathering, preshadowing, and base coating. I think I’m going to be okay… Nice to have another rookie onboard so I won’t be the only one asking the “newbie” questions!LOL

ok, the first stupid question of many!!!

Is the unde carige(frame chasiis etc.) the same color as the exterior???

Is everything basically the same color??? how about the engine and tranny???

I have learned the the instructions are not always right as far as colors are concerned!!!

The same colour Ron … splash away !!!

The engine may be different … but you’re not going to see it in a dio anyways.

I would paint the engine, transmission, underchassis with gunmetal. Wash the engine and transmission with a black wash and drybrush with metallic grey. Add rust to places where needed. Wash the chassis and other parts expected to be incontact with mud with a dark brown wash. Dry brush with metallic grey and rust where needed.

But this is just how I do it. Some more experienced guys would probably have their own methods.

Good luck.

Ok Ron, tell me you understood everything that Dwight told you [;)]. You missing the chrome yet? [:)] Don’t worry you’ll get to where you know all about weathering hanging out in here.

Yep, I just learned alot just in Dwight’s last post!lol

ok, they didn’t put the Chrome pieces in the box on purpose??? I just thought they forgot to put the chrome pieces in the box!!!

LOL ROFL

Thanks for the tips!

Now, what is a DRY-BRUSH???

LOL

Hey Shermie, you like my little Chef guy??? I found him on a reciepe site!! Pretty kool, eh???
